WHAT is Positive Transitions?
Positive Transitions was developed by Elizabeth Friend as we entered the 21st Century. The aim was to coach people experiencing difficulties in their lives towards a happier future.
Over the next decade, due to demand, the coaching element developed organically to include counselling and in facilitating a variety of workshops and courses. These included Anger Management, Dealing with Stress and Being Assertive. Numerous clients and delegates obtained positive benefit and found fresh motivation from working with Elizabeth during this time.
During 2020 we have all been affected by Covid 19. Now more than ever we need to find creative ways to survive these very challenging times. I feel it is important to exhibit qualities of kindness, tolerance, flexibility and respect for one another; to concentrate less on consumerism and more on the natural world. During these many months in shutdown I have used my NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) techniques to help me through the tough times but have found greater benefit from observing nature and by using imagination, visualizations and meditation. My aim is to share some of these ideas via this site.
